Protection

Protection

HRN is committed to integrating protection as a core focus of our strategy. We recognize that during crises, vulnerable groups including children, women, and persons with disabilities face increased risks of violence, exploitation, and abuse.

Our protection strategy envisions:

  1. Advocating for stronger community-based protection mechanisms.
  2. Partnering with agencies to promote child protection, with a focus on children associated with armed forces and armed groups.
  3. Supporting GBV prevention and awareness, while strengthening referral pathways for survivors.
  4. Mainstreaming protection across all HRN interventions to ensure accountability to affected populations.

As HRN scales its operations, protection will remain a guiding principle, ensuring all our humanitarian and development efforts are inclusive, safe, and responsive to the needs of the most at risk.
